Hi everyone! We are incredibly sorry for not keeping updated with you for this long, but as the members of Elite.Models know, Téa has been incredibly busy with her college life lately, and hasn't had time to spend on stardoll. Luckily, we have our wonderful managers g_a_b_s_y and Crystalnight who have helped a lot!

We are thankful for your understanding, and we hope to become as active as before very soon.

We apologize that we have not updated this blog for a while.

A lot of things have happened! We have got new managers for Elite.Models. The two girls who are part of the team are:

They will also manage the members lists, so for any further information about that, be sure to contact them.

The MOTM of December has reached its final stage and so everyone is preparing for the Elite Model Look of 2011. Who will be Elite Model's First model next year?

Interview with MOTM July - Kandle!

We are very happy to post this interview with the Model Of The Month July! I hope you will enjoy reading this interview with a very talented and smart girl, Kandle!

Congratulations on becoming MOTM July at Elite.Models, Kandle! We would like to ask you some questions.

How are you feeling?

Seriously, I know it sounds cheesy.. but words can’t even describe how I felt when I heard that I had won! I was so ECSTATIC! I felt so elated and overjoyed because this sort of thing doesn’t happen often to me, and I have waited, hoping to become MOTM for a year or so. I have been nominated and come to the final, nail-biting stages quite a few times to say it mildly, and I was just so excited that I had finally won! It was spectacular!

Where are you from?

I am originally British, from both England and Scotland, however until just recently I lived in the beautiful country of Switzerland for 5 years (:

When and why did you join stardoll?

I think I joined Stardoll around 3 years ago now, when it wasn’t even called Stardoll, it was Paperdollheaven. Wow it sounds so long ago! But I had a different account, which was far less glamorous. I found Stardoll at first because I loved dressing up dolls on the Internet because I had a real avid passion for style and fashion. I didn’t actually officially become a member until a year or so later, when I became bored of dressing up the dolls, and I had a strong desire to create my own doll and purchase clothes for her- it seemed the ideal pass time for me!

Are you a stardoll addict - as they call it - how much time do you spend on it?

I don’t think I’m a Stardoll addict as such! I go on about once a day in the summer, only a couple times a week when I have school and such, and I never spend over half an hour on the site per day. I love Stardoll, but right now, the quality of purchases for Non-superstars have really declined. I spent far more time on the site the one (and only,) time I was superstar!

Why did you join Elite.Models? What do you think of this club?

I joined Elite.Models because I really looked up to the Elite girls and their taste for fashion and beautiful dolls. At first, I was rejected (my old account anyways,) and it took a while before I got into the club! Finally, I was gifted this account from a friend I had made, who was in the club and a stunning elite and I managed (as this account was superstar,) to equip my doll with all I had always wanted, and to finally get into the club! Now I love the club. It gives me a chance to meet incredibly kind people, and to really express my passions and my style, as well as picking up tips!

What are your real life hobbies?

In real life, I am believe it or not, quite academic. So I love to read and I am members of a lot of extra-curriculars in school. At home, I love to watch old movies, and the television and go to parties and hang out with all of my friends! I also love sports, even though I’m not that good at any of them! I partake in sports such as volleyball, badminton, softball, skiing, basketball and many more! I love generally to relax and at the moment, enjoy the sun and the summer!

How would you describe your "stardoll style"? Is it the same as your "real life" style?

My Stardoll style and my real style are similar, but not exactly the same. In real life I can express myself more, because obviously there is more choice of clothes in real life, and also on Stardoll I am incredibly limited in my fashion choices, as I am not superstar. On stardoll I would say, I dress up more in formal dresses and such, which I might only wear to a special occassion or party in real life. In real life, I have a more casual style that’s suited to my everyday life. However, in both real life and on Stardoll I am incredibly conscious of how I present myself, and the clothes I wear! My style I think is very simple and chic, with a usual palette of muted tones, neutrals and monochrome with a flash of colour. My style is incredibly classy and classic, and very feminine. I have some boho looks, some more edgy and some soft feminine outfits. My style fluctuates depending on my mood a lot.

Where do you find your inspiration for your outifts and suite design?

I gather inspiration from a lot of celebrities and style idols of mine, but ultimately it depends on taste. I choose what I like and what I want to wear, however I am less of a fashion addict on Stardoll than I am in real life.

Where do you see yourself in - let's say - 10 years from now?

Hopefully, with a definite fingers crossed I will have finished Oxford studying law, and be either working in a major law firm, or continuing further studies in law school. That’s my dream, but anything could happen! Really, I want to be happy, healthy, with wonderful support from my friends and family and hopefully with a hot boyfriend by my side! (;

This is just a little update for you guys until something really cool is happening, haha.

The Model Of The Month competition keeps on going and in the new year of 2010 we have two new MOTM who are now also Elite Topmodels, kiwigoesbananas and liajm. At the moment the MOTM March is coming to an end phase so if you still haven't voted, go to the club's poll!

You have one option - and that is NOT to contact me - contact our new acceptens list keeper: xX.karlitos.Xx , she will tell you why you haven't been accepted (if you own or manage a modelling agency it's pretty clear) so you should do that first. Elite Model Look Of The Year 2010!

Congratulations Crystalnight!

Crystalnight won the Elite Model Look Of The Year competition and thus became the very first Elite Look Of Stardoll! This is the first time such a competition was organized at stardoll. She will receive stardollars and become a renowned member of Elite.Models and stardoll.
